I was looking for the perfect running vest for me for a long time. The best does not mean only superior sporty performance but also mean a smart out look. So I decided to test two well-known brands BodyPost and Under Armour. I have tested them out, and judged them against standards I deem to be most significant in a running vest. Both tops are of a similar style, and both claim to offer leading edge technology to enhance performance in all running conditions.
I tried both items with an experiment of 5 mile running and judged the comfort ability, quality, appearance and technical performance of keeping me cool and dry during the run. I noticed that the BodyPost tank top seems great on my body but it is not the only criteria for selecting a running top. The fabricated Moisture Transport System of the BodyPost vest made me feel cool and dry after even a 5 mile long run. That is certainly what I expected from it.
The extra bust support offered by the inbuilt shelf bra was also a welcome addition - something that makes all the difference in comfort and confidence when performing high intensity activity. The most common problem of all running top is that those rides up when working out.
I didn't face that problem with BodyPost running vest and it stayed firmly in place during the run. At the end of the run, I was unable to get home to change for about half an hour, and by this time the top was completely dry - in fact you were unable to tell I had been working out! I would also feel positive enough to wear this top after an exercise session, for instance, to stop for a drink in the bar at the gym, without having to change into something else, as it is very flattering fit and look. You can clean this top with your daily laundry and there's no need to iron. It takes a short time to become dry so you can use it again soon. 2 different sizes and three different colors are available. All these features come with just $28 including free delivery.
Women interval singlet also includes an anti-odor system which keeps you aesthetically pleasant during long run. The top, however, does not contain any bust support, which I feel is an important factor for me when selecting a tank top for running. The Under Armour top seems a little loose and baggy that is not preferred by most women. It will offer you good performance in running and athletic environment but you need to change it when you finish your activity. It is also machine washable and quick drying as the previous one. You can order this item from the online stores of UA with $24.99 only.
According to the above mentioned points and my needs, I would love to pick the BodyPost Athletic Generator Top. Because it is not only a handy sport kit but it also includes some options like bust support system that gives you more feminine and fitted look, quick cooling and drying technology which you can't find in other sports kits in the market.
