Law & Order: UK \"intent\" Review(5.05 )TweetDate: Sep 20, 2011 | Views: 14 | Comments: 0 As far as crime dramas go, this week's Law & Order: UK appears at first glance to be garden-variety: Brooks and Devlin catch the case of a couple stabbed to death in their home. Yet as this is LOUK, that's hardly al l. When they discover that the former owner of the house was a banker under fire from a hedge fund scam apparent, our hero met her husband (Samuel West stars Cambridge Spies) who likes to drink and is subject to power outages . One of them could explain how his bloody fingerprint was found on the premises. His memories are vague, and no one is sure how it should be held responsible for these murders. The West acts the heck out of character, seemingly always confused by everything that happens around him. Was he drunk? Was he pushed the point of snapping? Was it both? It keeps you guessing. There are some great banter between the two Detective Sergeants - take a look at the scene where Ronnie delegates interviewed by his daughter grieving couple's reaction to Matt and Matt - but if you have been watching the show long enough, you know, it's just business as usual for Bradley Walsh and Jamie Bamber. Actually read the entire act first as a classic story of crime, which proves that these two could it be a Midsomer Murders on their shoulders easily. They are related and they disappeared into their characters. ---
