AUSIB applauds possibility of 51% FDI in Indian multi-brand retail

January 7, 2011, Washington D.C:The Alliance for U.S. India Business (AUSIB) has partnered with the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern Universityfor their 17th Annual India Business Conference (IBC). As an Outreach Partner, AUSIB will collaborate with the School for the conference to be held on January 29, 2011 at the James L. Allen center on Northwestern’s Evanston campus.

The 2011 Kellogg IBC will discuss opportunities and challenges shaping India’s role in the emerging world order. It will particularly focus on the role of media & entertainment, as well as the success of women in Indian business. Some of the prominent keynote speakers and panelists at the Conference include Mr. Praful Patel (Minister of State Civil Aviation, India), Sam Pitroda (IT and Innovation advisor to Prime Minister of India) and S. Mitra Kalita (Deputy Global Economics Editor, WSJ).
