Occupy Wall Street and Tea Party Complaint Actions and the Effects toTweetDate: Feb 15, 2012 | Views: 15 | Comments: 0 Different protests are done almost daily in various countries. Protest actions are usually the effects of variations in opinions and beliefs. Most of the time, protests are means to awaken the masses of what’s happening over the country. However, not all people are in favour of protest action but people still continue to do so because they are fighting for their beliefs and ideals with the hope that their political leaders would listen. The latest protest actions that have gained the people’s attention are Occupy Wall Street and Tea Party. The cause they're fighting for has a similar idea since they want the “political power” to be in the proper hands. The main issues concern the current situations such as concerns on the government, taxes, civil and political rights including the economic crisis. However, Occupy Wall Street vs Tea Party movements become a problem itself. What is your stand on this? If you will take time to analyze, there is generally a big difference on the issues. Basing from the opinions generated from both the local and international critics, it seems that the Occupy Wall Street has a more considerable reason for their protest actions. On the other hand, the Tea Party protest movements just seem to have no direction in as much as their efforts are concentrated on the misinformed and the “angry for the wrong reason” issues. When talking about the Tea Party protests, one will not fail to include the subject ofTea Party Racism. It seemed like there is a certain truth to this. The fact is, the Tea Party protestors are generally made up of Republicans. The issues of racism has always been attached to Republicans. Based on history, Republicans have been known for their controversial stand against allowing the African American/Black American the right to vote. This issue has never been more prominent than when they included the citizenship and birth certificate questions on Obama. They have been openly critical of the administration of Obama even if there isn't a sufficient and factual basis. It is a pity because it happens that the Tea party consists of the more well off and aged population of Republicans. Occupy Wall Street propaganda mainly talks of rational things. These include the economy and employment. The focus of the issues is on the most confounding problems of the country and not specifically on any political leader. The main issues of the movement is why the corporate people of the country seemed to get all the benefits rather than the greater majority who have been on the losing end. To simplify the issue, it deals on the “rich becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer” because of the taxation system where the ordinary worker pays additional taxes. It also involves the issues of wages why inspite of the lower salaries, the taxes remain high. Even when the ideals of both movements-Occupy Wall Street and Tea Party-have their disparity, it can't be denied that it awakens many people. It makes the masses be more conscious of political and socio-economic issues. The last few years have seen the rise of two large political movements: Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party. Their different points of view has led to many Occupy Wall Street vs Tea Party comparisons. The Tea Party appears to be on the losing end of this, given the many accusations of Tea Party Racism.
