The Canadian company, Research In Motion Ltd., popularly known as Blackberry, unveiled their most-anticipated Blackberry phone to date: the Blackberry 10 OS together with their smartphones. Launching events happened simultaneously in different locations, namely, Toronto, Paris, London and Dubai.

RIM introduced their line of smartphones, physical-keyboard equipped Q10, and the full touch screen Z10. Dropping the RIM brand, the company claimed they will be moving forward as Blackberry per se.

Said phones are launched after a year of delay. "It took heartfelt, and sometimes brutal honesty with ourselves and others while building BlackBerry 10," said CEO Thorsten Heins during the launch. This new Blackberry 10 has been sought as RIM's chance to redeem itself against its strong competition: Apple and Android phones. Fortunately, critics gave positive impressions on the product. Bloggers and reporters at the event saw great potential on Blackberry 10.

With lots of promotional videos posted on YouTube, the consumers got to take a closer look on Blackberry 10 along with other smartphones. Dual core TI OMAP 4470 1.5GHz processors, 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, 8 & 2 megapixel cameras (front, back) capable of 1080p video, and a MicroSD slot are the features of both Q10 and Z10. You can access other details on the Blackberry website.
