Task Networking – The Future of Working Together

Task Networking makes it easy for people to work together to get things done. It provides a simple way for anyone from anywhere to plan and get tasks done with other people.

Task Networking matches the way people naturally work together. In simple terms, task networking synchronizes personal To Do lists, groups To Do’s into Tasks, and manages relevant Tasks in Trees, and provides real-time feedback and reporting.

Synchronizes Personal To Do Lists

People enter To Do’s and add the people who need to do something to complete the To Do. This creates a team (called an Action Team).

To add value, each To Do is shown on the To Do list of each person contributing to the To Do (i.e. Action team members). This makes it easy to see what needs to be done, when and with whom. When any To Do is completed, it is automatically completed on all Action Team members’ To Do lists.

Groups To Do’s into Tasks

To Do’s can be filed/stored in Tasks, so they are easier to find and to show other To Do’s needed to complete a task. To Do’s can be viewed as filtered lists or grouped by Tasks.

Manages relevant Tasks in Task Trees

Tasks are organized into trees of tasks and sub-tasks. Tasks and sub-tasks are containers to hold To Do’s, so they are easy to find and understand where they fit in the Task Tree.

Top Down and Bottom Up Planning and Implementation

Task networking supports top down planning and implementation where strategies, initiatives, changes, projects and tasks are linked to personal To Do lists. It can concurrently support bottom up planning and implementation where To Do’s are grouped in tasks that are joined to other tasks in a Task Tree.

Feedback and Progress Reporting

Task networking keeps relevant people informed in real-time about changes to tasks and To Do’s that affect them. Progress is driven by To Do’s completed.

Comparison to Social Networking

Social Networking is a great way for people to coordinate and share information about social activities. But social networking is not appropriate for task networking, because social networking provides no coordinated Task and To Do management and relies on people remembering to tell each other what is happening and what needs to be done.

Task Networking Software

TASKey has developed and validated web and mobile software for Task Networking. The software manages the coordination of work between distributed users, so people can work together more productively. More information is available at visit www.taskey.com or
